Doggy Dip and Mutt Marketplace!
Bronte Provincial Park Pool Area (1219 Burloak Drive)
September 7th Mutt Marketplace open 10:00am – 3’ish
Doggy dip 10:30 – 1:30. (three 1 hour time blocks)
$10.00 per dog. All proceeds support NSD’s Certified Service Dog Programs.
Swim times: 10:30- 11:30, 11:30-12:30, 12:30-1:30.
(A max of 50 dogs can be in the pool at any one time.)
Pre-registration encouraged – click waiver, pick a time slot, pay. Must show proof of vaccination to show on day of. A valid park permit is required for access to park – daily or seasonal vehicle permits can be purchased on day of at the park gates.
Mutt Marketplace will feature local unique canine service, products and business. See demonstrations, learn about new products, sample, browse and of course purchase!
Barker’s Corner is where you can listen to presentations, watch demonstrations and learn from information sessions all about how to keep your dog safe and healthy. Topics covered could include: ticks and lyme, coyote and wildlife encounters, and **** collection systems.
Event will go rain or shine… however in the event of thunderstorm we will need to delay or cancel event.

LEGO Club – Back to School with Harry Potter

Ireland House Museum (2168 Guelph Line)
Welcome to the world of witchcraft and wizardry! Create your own sorting hat and find out which house you belong to. You can then practice your spells with a LEGO wand and create a bookmark with your house colours. Lego Club runs one Sunday per month at Ireland House Museum. The cost is $10 per child. Kerrfest 2019
September 6th, 7th & 8th
Kerr Village (Kerr Street, Oakville)
Kerrfest is an outdoor music festival that takes place every September in Kerr Village. The festival is organized by the Kerr Village BIA and attracts thousands of people from the local area and surrounding Ontario Region.
Kerrfest features major musical performances with past bands such as Loverboy, David Wilcox, Jim Cuddy, The Spoons, April Wine, Big Wreck, Bill Durst, Steven Page, and Cowboy Junkies.
The streets are busy with local merchants sales, patios, food samples, special offers and much more for every age and taste. Enjoy the music, food, unique shops and all the fun that Kerrfest has to offer.
