Of course the weekend before Halloween the Cities will be filled with spooky festivities happening! Check out below for some fun events happening around the 905! 

Halloween Spooktacular
 

Spend your Friday evening getting spooky with the Hamilton BIA. Navigate your way through the corn maze, take a spin at the Halloween prize wheel and explore the fun house. There is so much to do from face painting to the Urban Zoo’s reptile tent with lots of creepy crawlers. Keep your eyes to the sky to spot the Stilt Walkers in costume enjoying the DJ dance party!
 

When: October 25th 5:00 pm- 8:00pm

Price: Free!

 

Treats in our Streets

Kick start the Halloween excitement in your house this weekend with Burlington’s annual Treats in our Streets event! Families are invited by the local businesses to Trick-or-Treat in costume throughout the downtown core. All participating businesses will be marked on the provided maps. Make sure to dress to impress the volunteers circling the area, there will be a grand prize for the best costume!

 

When: October 26th 10:00 am- 1:00 pm
Where: Downtown Burlington, Brant Street
Price: Free!

 

Spooky Saturday at the Hamilton Farmer’s Market

Get your little ones ready to go for the big night next Thursday. The Hamilton Farmers Market is hosting indoor Tick-or-Treating for candy at the vendors’ booths inside the Market. Along with the Trick-or-Treating kids can also participate in Pumpkin Painting with a $2 or non-perishable food donation for FOOD4KIDS. The Market will also have someone to do professional face painting starting at 11 , so get your littles dressed up for a test run and grab your groceries for the week while you’re at it!

Trivia Night in Support of Dog Guides and Dog Guide’s Recipients
 

Are you one of those people who LOVE to impress with all the useless knowledge you’re able to rhyme off? Well it’s your time to shine at The Mosborough Busy Busy Lions Club and Halton K9 Lions 3rd annual Trivia Night that has lots of new questions to really get those gears moving. Register your team of 8 people for a chance to compete for great prizes! All proceeds will be used to support the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.  Registration can be done by emailing trivia@mbblc.org .
 

When: October 26th 6:30 pm – 10:00pm

Price: $20/ person

Hutchinson's Farm:  6202 Walker's Line, Burlington. Open on the weekends 9 am- 5:00 pm, with a 5$/person admission fee 
Dynments: 416 Fallsview Road East, Dundas. Open on the weekends 10:00am- 5:00 pm, with a $13/adult and 12/children over 2 admission fee                                                                                      Lindley's Farm:  900 Fiddlers Green Road, Ancaster. Open on the weekends 10:00am- 4:00pm, with a $10/person admission fee                                                                                                                              Merry Farm: 1974 Concession Road 2 West, Hamilton.  Open on the weekends 10:00am- 5:00pm, with a $12/ person admission fee
