The February long weekend is finally here after what felt like a never ending January! There is so much to do and explore around Burlington & Hamilton and The 905 Sold Team is here to help narrow down your search. Check out our some of our suggestions! 

 

Things to do in Burlington: 

 

The Joesph Brant Museum: Giants, Dragons & Unicorns: The World of Mythic Creatures- 

Spend the day learning with your family about where these great legends came from. Enjoy the interactive stations through out the exhibit with a chance to build your own dragon. 

Where: 1240 North Shore Boulevard East

When: February 17, 12:00pm-4:00pm 

How much?: $10/ per adult and $6/ per child 

 

Family Day at Bronte Creek Provincial Park-

Get outside and Enjoy all that nature has to offer at Bronte Creek Provincial Park! Visit their Nature Centre, play in their Childrens Playbarn, and be hit the toboggan hills.

When: February 17, 9:00am-4:00pm 

How much?: $18/ vehicle day pass

 

Family Day Fun at Burlington Performing Arts Centre- 

There is so much to do for all ages at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Catch the live performance of Femmes du Feu: TWEET TWEET! a 30 minute circus routine, get your face painted by Beebop the Clown or catch the live musical performance of Andy Griffiths!

When: February 17, 11:00am-2:00pm 

How much?: $25/ per family 

 

Things to do in Hamilton:

 

Family Day Fun: Trains Trains and more Trains-

Learn about everything Locomotive with Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology. View model train displays, take a selfie in the train photo booth or try out some train themed crafts!

Where: 900 Woodward Avenue 

When: February 17, 12:00pm-4:00pm

How much?: $8.50/ per adult and $6.00/ per child 

 

Inside/Outside Family Day Festival- 

Get the best of both worlds at the Dundas Museum and Archives. Get outside and enjoy skating performances, live music and horse-drawn carriage rides, and after when you need to warm up head inside and experience a vintage 1920's hobby fair!

When: February 17, 12:00pm-4:00pm 

How much?: Free!

 

Hamilton Kids-Fest- 

A dream land for kids up to 12 years old! The largest inflatable festival in Canada is happening at the Ancaster fair grounds, kids can bounce, slide and ride all day long . They have something for everyone from interactive games to face painting and sand art.

When: February 17, 10:00am-5:00pm 

How much?: $8/ per adult and $25/ per child
