Treehouse TV royalty and five-time Juno Award nominees Splash’N Boots will headline the 2019 Oakville Children’s Festival. Families can expect to dance and sing along to hits like Tilly the Tadpole, Who Put the Beat in my Shoes and Antelopes Love Cantaloupes.  Visitors will enjoy fun hands-on activities and interactive shows including Fire Safety Zone, City Parent Scavenger Hunt, Friends of Oakville Public Library Book Sale, art and building workshops, seedling plantings, dance groups, recreation, sports and science activities, face painting, free indoor swimming, and more.
 
 
Dundas Cactus Festival

Cactus Festival of Dundas Ontario will feature some of the best bands you’ll see all summer long. Each stage offers something different. The Fun Zone, located on King St. between Market and Church offers a one stop shop for family entertainment.  The Baby Cactus Festival is an opportunity for young families with babies 3-17 months to meet, have some fun, and win some great prizes. Every baby entered is recognized and receives an Official ‘Cactus Tumbleweed’ Certificate! Fabulous amusement rides all weekend long! They open Thursday night after the parade, and run through Sunday.
